Clubs
We are very fortunate at Swallow Dell to be able to offer a wide variety of clubs to our pupils, all run by our dedicated staff.
Autumn Clubs have now finished.
Spring Term Clubs
Spring Term Clubs will run 12th January - 16th March 2026
3:15-4:15pm
Clubs will not run on the following dates:
Whole week of 16th February (Half-term)
3rd & 5th March due to parent teacher consultations

Mixed football and girls’ football
Mixed football and girls’ football
Football club will allow your child to develop their football skills, technique and teamwork skills. A football team will also be created from the children who attend the club from Year 5 & 6, attendance to the club will be taken into consideration when picking the team. Children must have water bottles, shinpads and football boots once the ground starts to get softer. They can wear football kits but will need warm and waterproof clothing too.

Gymnastics
Gymnastics
At gymnastics club, your child will develop their balance, agility and core strength. Children will use gymnastics equipment to develop routines and sequences. Children can wear their PE kit or clothing they wear for gymnastics outside of school. They must have a water bottle.

Multi-sports
Multi-sports
Each week a different sport will be chosen for the duration of the session. For example, basketball, football, dodgeball and tennis. Children must have water bottles, trainers and can wear their PE kits.

Netball
Netball
Children will learn how to play netball, the role of each different position and how to work together as a team. A netball team will then be selected to play against other local primary schools. Children must have water bottles, trainers and can wear their PE kits.

Construction
Construction
At construction club, children will be able to build to their heart’s desire! Each week they will have a building challenge to complete with their chosen material, from Lego and bricks to K’Nex!

Animation
Animation
During animation club, children will be able to create their own films! They will create animations using models made out of plasticine or drawn images. Frame by frame images can then be taken and made into a short film! These can then be edited by adding sound effects, voice overs and text.

Arts & Crafts
Arts & Crafts
At arts & crafts club, children can let let their creativeness grow by creating beautiful pieces of art or with a range of materials such as paints, watercolours, clay and much more!

Ball skills
Each week a different sport will be chosen for the duration of the session. For example, basketball, football, dodgeball and tag rugby. Children must have water bottles, trainers and can wear their PE kits.

DT
DT
DT club will allow children to develop and build on skills that are taught in DT lessons. They will work creatively on mini projects.

Computing
Computing
At computing club, children will use a range of different programs to create animations, music and films!

Dodgeball
Dodgeball
At dodgeball club, children will dodge, duck, dip and dive to avoid being hit by the ball, whilst trying to catch members of the other team out.
